But if the party includes a trip, schedule it at least a week before the wedding date.
Who will the guests be?
If you're in charge of inviting people, which is likely, you need to keep a few things in mind. The invitations need not be formal, an email or phone call is sufficient.
Will all the guests get along? Do all the guests drink? Will any of the guests think that they were left out? Will everyone enjoy the activities or will someone be offended? Is everyone okay with the cost? When organizing the list of guests, keep all of these points in mind.
It may not always be wise to invite the fathers so you will have to decide if you will. Even the bride's father is included! Invite them and let them decide.

Usually you can just split the bill.This is the groom's night so ask the other guys to pitch in to cover the groom's expenses.
Another way to do this is to take up a collection after the guests have paid their own tab.
You don't want anyone to go away angry or sour so make sure you have outlined in advance exactly what each guest is expected to pay.
