The world's largest sports spectacle will begin on June 11th, and there is quite a bit of hype surrounding it. Yes, I'm referring to the FIFA World Cup, and South Africa is the host for the very first time ever. ZAKUMI is the official Mascot and Ambassador of the 19th edition of this extravaganza. He is a green-haired leopard with human characteristics, representing the human and natural diversity of Africa. The moniker ZAKUMI is derived from two words: "ZA" which is an abbreviation for South Africa and "KUMI" which means 'ten' in a number of African languages. A young, ambitious and energetic leopard, Zakumi is an inspiration to people of all ages throughout Africa. This proud African leopard has green dreadlocks and wears a white T-shirt along with green shorts.

We dressed the stag in the Bruno Lederhosen costume and in all the bars people were laughing. By the end of the night half the stag group had worn the costumes so we got great value for money!
